A bit of history...
The idea came from Graham and Damian who, after many successful years working in the industry felt it was time to turn their own creative ideas and expertise into reality.
With Roz coming on board a month or so later it all became a reality in March 2020, just as the world was closing its doors.
Ever optimistic and with big plans to make our business different from the normal wine merchant; we pressed on through lockdown and finally opened our doors 14th August 2020.
Our aim is to bring quality and diversity and offer new experiences. With a dedicated tasting room, our Sampling Lounge, products you won’t find in the supermarkets and a huge range of wines, beers and spirits from the local area. We believe in local independent businesses supporting each other and we are very pleased that these superb producers have their products in our shop.
With our combined knowledge and Damian’s many years of experience (we let him choose most of the wines!) we are certain our wines beers and spirits are chosen for their quality and uniqueness.
We want to get to know our customers so we can advise and encourage you to try new wines. Whether you are buying an everyday wine or a special bottle for an event we are confident we can help find just the right bottle for you.
We are looking forward to introducing you to all our new projects. But in the meantime, you can visit our shop, join us for a tasting event or shop online.
